Poplar Wood
Poplar burl wood is nothing more than a material that is created as a result of swelling of the
trunk. Growths, thickenings and protrusions form on the tree, which causes the
arrangement of wood fibers and the grain pattern change significantly. Therefore, under the bark
characteristic patterns formed - spots, small knots, spiral patterns. Such wood is
healthy, but with a clearly changed structure. This makes poplar burl wood very
appreciated by designers, furniture manufacturers and sculptors.
